Our inventory is quite diverse, from very fine circa 1800 French Henry II buffets to 1920’s English art deco cocktail cabinets. Our ultimate goal is design! Nothing can impact the design of a room like a handmade, totally unique piece of furniture. The expression “They don’t make things the way they used to” is absolutely true. Or if they do, the cost of a piece of modern handmade furniture is astronomical. Fourteen years ago we began importing beautiful pieces of antique European furniture into this country simply because we love it. All these years later, we have merely grown fonder of each unique piece of furniture. As any good antique dealer will tell you, the pieces that have passed through our hands are like old friends that we have adapted out to deserving parents. Each needs to be appreciated for the individual that it is. On many pieces of furniture the carving is quite incredible. The hours of work which went into their creation are staggering. The furniture is art, created in a time and place in European history which will never again be repeated.
